What is Locum Monkey?

Locum Monkey is a sophisticated online database and networking site designed exclusively for UK health service professionals. It allows general practice surgeries to find the right locum quickly thus freeing up staff to get on with the more important task of providing healthcare.

We use a large database of GP practices and locum doctors to allow effective interaction for filling vacancies fast, with the right person. If you’re not registered, get registered now! It’s completely free for locums and GP practices.

Locum Monkey also allows any NHS organisation to create their own secure databases populated with details of their staff. This way they can contact their own staff via SMS about anything – vacancies, staff notices and so on. These organisations will not have access to the Locum Monkey practice and locum databases – only their own created databases. Similarly, locums and practices will not have access to third party databases belonging to other organisations.

Unfortunately, recruitment agencies are not allowed to register with Locum Monkey at present.
